Blind spot information system

Blind spot information system - Overview - Lincoln MKT

The available Blind Spot Information System (BLISЃ) with cross-traffic alert can detect vehicles in blind spots during normal driving and traffic approaching from the sides when reversing out of parking spots. BLIS uses radar to detect when another vehicle enters the defined blind spot zone. A light appears on the corresponding sideview mirror to indicate another vehicle is in the defined blind spot.
